4. Easy to connect the Reserve a Table button.

Note - Reserve with Google isn't available in the following Asia Pacific countries: China, North Korea, Macao, Maldives, Cambodia, Fiji, Myanmar & Lao.
How does it work?
1. Reserve with Google can only accept the Standard availability reservation. No Promotion, payment, or card details required reservation can be completed on this channel. There may be a possibility of Google allowing for the selection of promotions or accepting card details in the future, but at present, the integration will not display any availability for timeslots associated with a requirement for a promotion to be selected or card details/payment to be provided.
2. The Reserve with Google directly views ResDiary settings and availability. It displays the available 'Standard Availability' time slots that can be booked in your ResDiary. If you have a required promotion or credit card required rule then this channel will not allow bookings for those times.
3. Google will offer a maximum of 30 days advance reservations but will correspond to your diary settings if you have this set lower.
4. The same Terms and Conditions set in ResDiary will also appear in the Reserve with Google booking process, below the booking summary.
5. No custom field will appear on the Reserve with Google booking window which is enabled on the Table Plus widget. The customer can only enter their ‘First Name’, ‘Surname’ ‘Telephone Number’, ‘Email’ and ‘Special Requests’ for the booking.
6. The leave time does not show on RWG in the booking process, as the leave time is currently not supported by Google. However, as so many venues required leave time confirmations it was decided that all bookings made via the Reserve with Google channel would be set to 'leave time confirmed' in the back end to trigger the leave time in the confirmation email as the RWG integration cannot pick up whether the setting is on or not.
7. Google sends its own auto-generated email templates as a notification to the customer for the reservation. It sends out 'confirmation, modification, cancellation, and post dining' notifications emails. Customers also receive email notifications configured in ResDiary.
8. Google does allow reservations to be edited/cancelled via email notification. The ResDiary edit and cancel rules are applied on the RWG channel for restricting whether customers can edit/cancel their reservation online, within the time frame set up in ResDiary.
How to activate the 'Reserve a Table' button for your venue?
To get listed your restaurant on Google you have to get yourself a Google my Business Page. Once you enlisted your restaurant on Google my Business page its matches with the Google maps locations of your restaurant. ResDiary has Reserve with Google automated so after entering the correct address details of the restaurant in ResDiary settings and its matches with the verified Google maps locations your restaurant gets listed itself on Reserve with Google.
