In ResDiary check your diary setup
Log into your ResDiary account, go to the event day in the diary.
Do you have the right area set up?
Do you have enough tables available for the event?
In Settings > Table Management > you will see the Areas &/or Tables to adjust.

Update your close-outs
Is your diary showing the time slots the restaurant is open for bookings?
Or are you needing to close-out certain days and times?
To do this go to Settings > Close-outs > Add New Period.

Do you need to change the diary layout?
Change your diary and table layout settings for special events and switch between them.
Segments allows you to add a Function Room (or similar) as an Area to your diary just for a day or range of dates.
To do this, go to Settings > Table Management > Segments select or create the segments.

Promotion Loading in ResDiary
Load your special event in ResDiary, this allows the customer to see the offer and details at the time of booking. This is known as a Promotion.
To load a Promotion, go to Promote > Promotions > Create New.

ResDiary is now set up!
You will be able to keep track of bookings in your ResDiary. There is the Running Order or Booking Report available for you to view or export a list of your bookings.
Remember that once your event is sold out, to place a close-out in the diary to stop any further bookings being made.
